Linton civil parish is in SE Herefordshire, just NE of Ross-on-Wye and adjoining Gloucestershire.
The electoral roll numbers 750. The parish comprises the villages of Bromsash, Gorsley and Linton and
is rural with stock, fruit and some arable farming.
Linton has a church, village hall, pub and part-time Post Office.
Gorsley has a chapel, a church, a pub, village hall, Post Office and village shop and a primary school.
Bromsash is a residential community.
